Meet the doctor
One of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with our patients. Our practice has developed a reputation for providing comprehensive, personalized dental care for the Renton community for over 30 years. It’s truly a privilege to serve our patients and make a difference through the care we provide.
Education
Dr. Wagar attended the University of Redlands in southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
Continuing Education
Dr. Wagar is passionate about dentistry and striving to provide the most up-to-date technology and procedures for his patients. He routinely takes more than twice the required amount of continuing education hours in our state. He has a particular interest in the placement and restoration of dental implants. Following many hours of post-graduate advanced training, he earned Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, one of the pre-eminent dental implant organizations in the world. This designation is awarded to dentists who have committed themselves to advanced training and have shown a high level of skill and judgment.
Outside the Office
Dr. Wagar is originally from Yakima, Washington, but now resides in Seattle with his wife and 2 daughters.
